We offer certification and certificate courses for individuals, schools, businesses, healthcare providers, and caregivers.

Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Designed for healthcare providers, EMS personnel, and safety professionals.

  • Focuses on high-quality adult, child, and infant CPR, AED use, and team response

  • ​Based on current ILCOR science and American Heart Association CPR/ECC guideline updates

  • Includes hands-on skills evaluation and written exam

  • 2-year certification upon successful completion

  • CE hours available for EMS and certain healthcare professionals

Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS)
  • ​Designed for teens and young adults preparing to babysit

  • Teaches safe childcare practices, basic first aid, and emergency response

  • Covers business basics, professionalism, and parent communication

  • Includes hands-on skill practice and safety scenarios

  • Certificate program valid for 2 years

General CPR, First Aid and AED (Adult, Child & Infant)
  • For workplace responders, teachers, coaches, and the general public

  • Covers First Aid, CPR, and AED use for adults, children, and infants

  • Option to certify in Adult only, Child & infant only, or full Adult/Child/Infant combo

  • Based on current ILCOR science and American Heart Association CPR/ECC guidelines and updates

  • Includes hands-on skills testing and written evaluation (if required)

  • 2-year certification upon successful completion

Emergency Use of Medical Oxygen
  • For Adult First Aid and Adult/Child CPR AED providers and/or BLS-trained healthcare providers, professional rescuers, or public safety providers working in a variety of occupational settings who desire or are required to be certified in the emergency use of medical oxygen

  • Teaches proper setup, delivery devices, and safe administratin of emergency oxygen

  • Approved by the HSI Medical Advisory Board and aligned with current ILCOR science and American Heart Association CPR/ECC guideline updates

  • Includes hands-on skills evaluation 

  • 2-year certification upon successful completion

Pediatric First AID | CPR | AED
  • Designed specifically for licensed childcare providers to meet state regulatory requirements

  • Meets EMSA requirements (EMSA certification stickers issued)

  • Covers pediatric Frist Aid, CPR, and AED for infants, children, and Adults

  • Approved by HSI Medical Advisory Board and aligned with current ILCOR science and American Heart Association CPR/ECC guideline updates

  • 8-hour instructor-led course with hands-on skills evaluation (written exam if required)

  • 2-year certification upon successful completion

Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP)
  • Designed for employees with and CPR/First Aid providers with potential occupational exposure to blood or bodily fluids

  • Teaches how bloodborne diseases are transmitted and how to reduce exposure risk

  • Satisfies U.S Department of Labor OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standards (29 CFR 1910.1020) training requirements

  • Approved by the HSI Medical Advisory Board

  • Knowledge evaluation included (written exam only if required by regulatory agency)

  • 1-year certification issued upon successful completion

Advanced Bleeding Control
Stop Life-Threatening Bleeding
  • Designed for community members and workplace responders who want advance hemorrhage control training

  • Teaches rapid bleeding assessment, direct pressure, wound packing, and tourniquet application

  • Based on Hartford Consensus principles and adapted from the American College of Surgeons STOP THE BLEED® program

  • Approved by the HSI Medical Advisory Board and aligned with the current American Heart Association and Red Cross focused updates

  • ​Includes hands-on skills evaluation 

  • Certification issued upon successful completion

Use and Administration of Epinephrine Auto-Injectors (EPI-Pen)
  • Designed for childcare providers, school system employees, camp counselors, and administrators; also appropriate for training the general public (Good Samaritans)

  • Teaches recognition of severe allergic reactions and anaphylaxis

  • Covers proper use of epinephrine auto-injectors, legal considerations, storage, and preparation

  • Includes hands-on demonstration and skills review

  • Completion based on meeting course learning objectives

  • Approximate course length: 30-60 minutes

  • Certificate issued upon successful completion

Advanced First Aid
  • Designed for non-EMS responders who need training beyond Basic First Aid but not at the Emergency Medical Response level

  • Ideal for corporate emergency response teams and workplace responders

  • For government, corporate, industry, lifeguards, security personnel, law enforcement, corrections, and other non-EMS personnel

  • Covers advanced assessment, airway management, rescue breathing, medical emergencies, trauma care, triage, and childbirth

  • Current professional-level BLS certification required (if not incorporated into the course

  • 2-year certification upon successful completion
